Features
- Minimal Parts - Design Optimization
- Optimized for clean 3D printing with minimal supports
- Works well with FDM 3D printers
- Tolerances (≈ 0.3mm) modelled in
Print Settings & Precautions
Precautions: Ensure your 3D printer has excellent tolerances - calibrate your 3D printer beforehand. Tolerances are modelled in, so relatively modern 3D printers should be fine (e.g. Bambulab A1 mini, Prusa i3). If parts do not fit smoothly, use sandpaper or other tools to make the objects fit smoothly.
The shredder will run smoother as it is used more since imperfections will be worn down.
Print Settings:
Strong parts are needed, so a great amount of filament will be consumed. It is recommended to print test samples using low infill to ensure tolerances are up to spec and then proceeding with the final print.
- Supports: No
- Brims/Rafts: No (unless your printer suffers from bad adhesion/warping)
- Layer height: <0.30 mm (0.20 mm is optimal)
- Perimeters: 4+ (the more, the better)
- Infill: 25%+ (the more the better)
